Accessing Our Housing

At Home From Home, we provide safe, supported accommodation for those who need it most. However, we do not accept direct applications for housing. All of our referrals are managed by the London Borough of Newham. This means that all placements into our homes are arranged through Newham Council, based on individual needs and circumstances. How Referrals Work Referrals are made by different departments within the council, such as housing, social care, and family support services.

We work closely with these teams to ensure that each home we offer is allocated to someone in genuine need, often young women or families experiencing crisis or significant vulnerability. Due to rising demand for housing amid the escalating crisis, HFH are considering increasing accessibility to our housing stock through the option of Self-Referral.
